The twenty-fifth Annual General Meeting of the Biddenham Gardeners’ Association was held in the Village Hall on 21st July 2015.
The Chairman’s Annual Review, the Secretary’s report and the treasurer’ report were received. The balance carried forward at the end of the financial year was £2, 112.43.

The business meeting was followed by a presentation by Paul Sutherland on the work of the charity Bedford Garden Carers and concluded with a generous interpretation of a cheese and wine buffet.
Thanks were expressed to David Williams for putting out the notice Board in Biddenham Turn each month, Rosemary Harris, Biddenham Show representative and work on the Village Hall Garden and Ann Manze and Ann Ebbs, organising the meeting tea and coffee rota.
Following the AGM Frank McMahon ( Carlton Emmaus Chair) spoke about the history of the Emmaus Community and the work of the Community at Carlton. This was followed by a summer cheese and wine buffet prepared by Susan Arthern and Marjorie Congdon.
The next meeting of the association will be held on 15th September in the Village Hall when the speaker will be Jane Perrone, Gardening Editor of the Guardian Newspaper. Her subject will be Growing Vegetables in Small Spaces.
