Theobalds FarmHouse – 2020 – rebooked for Wednesday 14th June, 2022
This outing to Theobalds Farmhouse Garden in Enfield (initially booked for Tuesday, 24th June 2020 ) has now been rebooked for 15th June 2021. The BGA will be visiting the award winning 2 acre garden owned by garden designer Alison Green who gave our talk in November 2019 Travel to Enfield will be via an air conditioned Mercedes coach which will leave Biddenham village hall at 12.30 pm. The cost of the outing is estimated to be £28, which includes the transport, garden entry and afternoon tea and cake. Non members are welcome to attend and it will be on a first come basis. Please see Paula to make payment and secure a place. Payments are non refundable, due to the outing being non profit.
Elton Hall – 11th August, 2020 – Cancelled
The BGA has arranged to visit Elton Hall and its stunning gardens near Peterborough on Tuesday, 11th August 2020. We shall depart from outside the Village Hall at 10:45 am sharp. The cost of the visit is £28 and non members are welcome to attend. The ticket price includes travel on an air conditioned Mercedes coach, a guided tour of the beautiful and historic hall, and access to the stunning gardens. Attendees will have time upon arrival to purchase (at own cost) and enjoy food at the Mulberry cafe, although prior notice of this will need to be given to Paula. Bosworth’s garden centre is located in the walled garden of Elton Hall and time will be given for attendees to browse, should they wish. We will aim to leave Elton Hall by 5.30 pm. Please see Paula to make payment thus securing a place. The outing is on a first come basis. Please note, that payments are non refundable in order for the BGA to avoid making a monetary loss.
