Outings 2017

The BGA has two interesting outings arranged for 2017 and we hope that  you will be able to attend. If you are interested, please do sign up early particularly so with Deene Park as numbers are limited to 33. There is no limit for Ascott.

Ascott House, Wednesday 5th April, 2pm Leighton Buzzard

Ascott House is near Leighton Buzzard – this will be a car journey and if you  require a lift to Leighton Buzzard, please do speak with a Committee member and it will be arranged.  National Trust members are allowed free entry to Acott House and its gardens, otherwise it will cost £5 to view the gardens.  Ascott House is renowned for it beautiful specimen trees, shrubs and herbaceous borders. Food and beverages are available for purchase in the tea rooms. In particular, on the day of the BGA’s visit, the daffodils should be at their peak.

Deene Park, Tuesday 4th July, Nr Corby, Northants – by Coach

This will be a coach outing, numbers are limited to 33. The cost (including travel and entry to the Gardens) is estimated at £22 per person. Coach pickup will be at Main Road/Nodders Way at 10am (please arrive at 9:50am latest to register attendance) and will depart for home at 3:30pm. The price includes entry to the House with a guided tour and entry to the gardens. A variety of food in the Old Kitchen tea rooms is available. Please note: Spaces are limited to 33 – please pay asap to secure your place.
