At the end of October on a lovely sunny afternoon four members of the BGA met at the entrance to Deep Spinney to prepare the bed for a wildflower display. We laid out the plan of the bed, took the turf off and dug over the whole area in the course of the afternoon. The bed will now be left until March for the frost to get at it and we will then rake it and sow it with an annual wildflower mixture.
